How to Style Faux Stems

How to Style Faux Stems

With Spring finally arriving, we wanted to talk about our favorite Stems. We get a lot of questions on how many to style, where to display, what kind of jar, and how to make faux stems look realistic. Here are our answers, suggestions, and best tips for styling stems.

The first step is finding the right vessel. There are many beautiful options including temple jars in classic blue and white or vases in marble or ceramic. Take a look at our curated collection here to see what would elevate your home. We always recommend our Opal Shell Temple Jar. It is stunning with its iridescent shell detail and shapely form. Its timeless shimmery white finish, easily styles all year round and in any room of the house. Available in two sizes, this is one of our must-haves.

Our Cherry Blossoms are our most popular stem as they style well throughout the house on kitchen islands, entries, center tables, and consoles. Available in elegant white or chic pink, they feature big, incredibly lifelike blossoms complemented by sweet baby greens. These stems are tall, so be sure to have a vessel tall enough for their height. If needed, gently bend the stem in a u-shape and twist it back around to help with easy styling. We generally recommend styling in sets of 3 or 12-24 stems per jar, as we love a big, eye-catching design. Make sure to softly pull the branches apart and fluff the blossoms for a full, real look.

Another of our favorites, our Orchid Stems look incredibly realistic, even capturing the natural feel and look of real Orchid veining. Available in three colorways, pink, purple, and white, these look sensational with their bright coloring. When they first arrive, gently fluff and bend the stem for that organic arching shape. As with the Cherry Blossoms, we generally style in sets of 3 or 12-24 stems, depending on the size of the jar. We recommend displaying it in an entryway or living room on a mantle or coffee table.

One reason we love these Orange Branches is that they can be styled all year round. Floral stems need to be changed according to the seasons, but these faux stems can stay up every month. Our favorite trick is to gently bend some of the branches, so the fruit looks juicy and realistic. We generally display on a kitchen island or table and style 12-16 branches per jar.

Our tips and tricks should make styling our faux stems effortless, lending a full, lifelike touch to any space. To watch Jess style stems, check out the video here. To shop all our stems, browse the collection here. For more styling tips, read the blogs here.
